Collaborate with Customer Service and Planning teams to efficiently solve problems Maintain fair and equitable distribution of work Monitor driver performance and miles Coach driver’s regarding customs, hazmat, hours of service, policy, regulations, satellites
Develop solutions for any driver inquiries Update customer websites Communicate & problem solve with customers as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years truckload dispatch experience is an asset
Must have a minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience
Working knowledge of the North American transportation industry
ACE and Customs/border crossing experience an asset
Experience with EDM (or similar dispatch systems) is considered an asset
Skills & Attributes
Keen interest in building relationships with your team of drivers and co-workers Desire to urgently resolve incidents that occur while driver is delivering their load Exhibits a conscious effort to understand the causes instead of just the effects of a situation
Completes daily tasks autonomously, but enjoys collaborating with others when solving problems Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Meticulous attention to detail
Good communications skills (written and verbal) Intermediate level computer skills and proficient keyboarding
