Dispatcher

Dispatcher Responsibilities Receive and manage emergency and non-emergency calls, obtaining and documenting accurate and critical information. Evaluate situations quickly and prioritize calls based on urgency, risk, and available resources. Dispatch appropriate crews and equipment using radio, telephone, and computer-aided dispatch systems. Provide callers with clear instructions and support until help arrives, when applicable. Monitor the location, status, and safety of field units and coordinate responses in real time. Adjust assignments and reroute units as conditions change to ensure efficient operations. Maintain continuous communication with crews, supervisors, and other agencies as required. Accurately enter, update, and maintain call data, activity logs, and operational records. Follow department policies, protocols, and confidentiality requirements at all times. * Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Experience: Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
