Role Description The Dispatcher role at Kuthala Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Brampton, ON. The Dispatcher will coordinate daily transportation schedules, assign and dispatch drivers and equipment, and monitor routes to ensure timely, efficient, and safe delivery of goods. Responsibilities include communicating with drivers and customers, updating load and shipment information, resolving scheduling conflicts, and responding to service issues or emergencies in real time. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in dispatch systems, collaborating with operations and fleet teams, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The Dispatcher will contribute to continuous improvement of routing efficiency, customer service quality, and overall operational performance. Qualifications Strong logistics and transportation coordination skills, including route planning, load scheduling, and dispatch operations. Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, data entry). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple tasks under time pressure. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address service disruptions, equipment issues, and scheduling conflicts. Knowledge of trucking industry practices, basic regulatory requirements, and safety standards is an asset. Prior experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics operations is strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Brampton, ON, with flexibility for shifts as operational needs require.
