About the Role Lucini Bus Lines is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Transportation Dispatcher / Operations Manager to help oversee daily operations at one of our locations. This is a hands-on position for someone who can coordinate drivers, manage schedules, communicate with customers, and keep daily transportation operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a problem-solver, and someone who can take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate daily bus schedules, trips, and driver assignments. Dispatch drivers and communicate schedule changes, trip details, and updates. Monitor daily operations to ensure trips run safely, efficiently, and on time. Communicate with drivers, customers, and other company personnel regarding schedules and transportation needs. Handle last-minute changes, unexpected delays, driver call-outs, and other day-to-day operational issues. Assist with managing driver availability, coverage, and scheduling. Help oversee the condition, readiness, and availability of buses. Maintain accurate trip schedules, dispatch records, and other operational paperwork. Assist with driver compliance, company procedures, and safety requirements. Provide customer service and resolve scheduling or transportation issues professionally. Help manage and improve the overall efficiency of daily operations. Qualifications Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or management preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Comfortable using computers, email, scheduling systems, and basic office software. Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility for daily operations. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Experience working with drivers, buses, or commercial transportation is a plus.
