What You'll Do As a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative, you will help coordinate daily transportation operations while providing excellent service to our customers and drivers. Your responsibilities will include: Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment based on customer needs, established schedules, and changing operational demands. Prepare and manage daily dispatch schedules, making adjustments as necessary to keep operations running efficiently. Create, receive, process, and communicate customer orders. Maintain consistent communication with drivers throughout their shifts. Communicate work orders, schedule changes, customer requests, and other important information to drivers, management, and appropriate personnel. Work directly with customers to answer questions, coordinate deliveries, address service needs, and resolve issues. Work closely with other dispatchers to coordinate operations across company territories. Monitor customer needs, fuel inventories, pricing information, and distribution requirements. Respond quickly and professionally when schedules, customer needs, equipment availability, or other circumstances change. Maintain accurate and organized records of work requests, completed work, customer requests, charges, expenses, inventory information, and other operational records. Help ensure company operations remain compliant with applicable DOT rules and regulations . Use company-provided technology and communication tools to effectively manage daily operations.
