Duties
• Coordinate freight shipments using transportation management systems to optimize routes and delivery times
• Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via phone and emails while maintaining professional etiquette
• Conduct analysis of freight data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
• Maintain detailed records of shipments.
• Support logistics operations by handling inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing excellent customer service
Skills
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate shipments efficiently
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including freight management and shipping & receiving procedures
• Understanding of heights, weights of equipment and requirments to transport
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline transportation solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette
• Ability to perform accurate data entry with high typing speed.
• Strong analysis skills to interpret freight data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving protocols to ensure compliance and accuracy in logistics operations

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
