DISPATCHERGray Brothers Septic Services | Spring City, PA Gray Brothers Septic Services is a growing, family-owned environmental services company looking for an experienced, organized, and confident Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher is a critical part of our daily operation. This position is responsible for coordinating our field technicians and trucks, communicating with customers, and keeping the day's schedule running efficiently and profitably. WHAT YOU'LL DO Dispatch and coordinate multiple service trucks throughout the day Build and manage daily schedules and adjust routes as priorities change Communicate clearly with drivers, technicians, customers, and management Schedule septic pumping, portable toilets, and other field services Monitor jobs throughout the day and ensure technicians have the information and resources they need Respond quickly to schedule changes, emergencies, delays, and customer requests Optimize routing to reduce unnecessary drive time and improve productivity Communicate job details, access information, special instructions, and customer expectations to crews Maintain accurate records of completed and pending work Coordinate with the office and billing team to ensure jobs are properly documented Help identify scheduling opportunities and maximize truck utilization using provided software Provide professional and courteous customer service Hold drivers and technicians accountable to schedules and company expectations Assist management with improving dispatching procedures and operational efficiency WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate is: Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once A strong communicator who can confidently speak with customers and employees Able to make quick decisions and solve problems under pressure Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Experienced with dispatching, routing, scheduling, logistics, transportation, or a similar operation Proficient with computers and scheduling software Reliable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of the position Professional and calm—even when the day doesn't go according to plan Experience in septic, plumbing, excavation, environmental services, construction, trucking, or another field-service industry is a plus.
