DISPATCHER/CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ideal person will have dispatch experience as well as customer service skills in the transportation industry. She/He will have the ability to multi-task and dispatch drivers on daily basis with a strong sense of urgency when needed. Ability to audit log sheets and verify that work order information is correctly entered into the system, have experience with setting appointments in port system (PROPASS), and be familiar with the imports/exports. Must have good organizational skills. Be computer literate and have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and scanning. Must have continuous open line of communication with drivers, customer service, and management. Experience working for drayage company (large fleet) and port is a plus.
