Dispatcher/Customer Service

Towstar Towing Ltd. is looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Overnight Dispatcher to join our team. This is an in-person position responsible for coordinating towing calls, dispatching tow truck operators, communicating with customers, and ensuring efficient operations throughout the night. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, has excellent communication skills, and can manage multiple calls and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer towing requests. Dispatch tow truck operators to service calls efficiently and accurately. Coordinate service requests, locations, and job details with drivers. Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and other team members. Monitor ongoing calls and follow up on job progress. Enter and maintain accurate records of calls, dispatches, and completed jobs. Prioritize urgent calls and manage multiple requests during busy periods. Provide accurate information regarding estimated arrival times and service updates. Handle customer questions and concerns in a professional manner. Maintain clear communication throughout the overnight shift. Qualifications and Skills Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers, phones, and dispatch software. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently overnight. Previous dispatch, towing, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience is an asset. Knowledge of local roads and service areas is an asset. Willingness to learn towing procedures and dispatch systems. Work Environment In-person position at our dispatch location. Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
