Hothi FreightlinesOverview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and services within our supply chain. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and proficiency in various dispatching software systems. Duties - Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Monitor fleet operations and manage routes effectively to optimize efficiency. - Communicate with drivers and other stakeholders via phone systems to provide updates and resolve issues. - Utilize dispatching software such as SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400 for tracking shipments. - Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. - Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including shipment details and driver assignments. - Address customer inquiries regarding shipment status while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Skills - Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and dispatching practices. - Proficiency in using dispatching software, including SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400. - Familiarity with fleet management principles and practices. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear and effective interaction. - Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong phone etiquette skills for professional interactions with drivers and clients.
