Dispatcher

Overview The Dispatcher coordinates freight movements and supports clear, timely communication across shipping and receiving activities. This role uses transportation management systems and accurate data entry to help keep supply chain operations organized and responsive. Duties Coordinate freight dispatch and shipment updates, working with internal teams and 3PL partners to support timely movement of goods. Enter and maintain shipment details in transportation management systems, AS400, or SyteLine, checking records for accuracy. Use analysis skills to review shipment information, identify delays or discrepancies, and share relevant updates with colleagues. Handle inquiries using phone etiquette, communication skills, typing, and multi-line phone systems. Your impact: accurate updates help colleagues coordinate shipments and respond to customers with confidence. Requirements Required: Clear communication, professional phone etiquette, accurate data entry, typing, and the ability to manage calls and shipment details across multiple tasks. Practical analysis skills support reviewing freight information and maintaining dependable shipping and receiving records. Preferred: Familiarity with transportation management systems, supply chain operations, 3PL coordination, AS400, or SyteLine is advantageous, along with experience supporting freight dispatch, shipping, or receiving workflows. Pay: From $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
