Dispatcher

Job description Required Skills and Experience: Working knowledge of all applicable regulations governing transportation across various provinces (not limited to Hours of Service, Weights and Dimensions) Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with all customers, employees, vendors, and management Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills Demonstrate time management and priority setting skills Ability to maintain composure in a fast paced environment Must be highly organized and able to multitask Must be accustomed to busy phones Ability to adjust priorities on short notice Ability to work independently and as a team player Previous dispatch experience is necessary Pipeyard experience ELD Experience is an asset but not required Picker operator/highway hauling experience is an asset but not required Job Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Dispatch picker operators, highway haulers and delivery drivers Prepare field tickets for invoicing On call 24 hours a day while on shift Act as a liaison between customers, drivers and operations communicating instructions, permits and all other applicable information Manage hours of services for drivers Book permits as required Assist in preparing bids/flat rates for specific jobs Search for loads to match any empty equipment (back hauls) Manage and invoice rental equipment Help with the onboarding process to orientate new hires Provide mentorship to employees Annual salary to be based on experience Ability to commute/relocate: Lloydminster, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
