Dispatcher and Release Clerk
Clancys TowingJob Summary Experienced towing dispatcher and vehicle release clerk skilled in handling high-volume phone calls, dispatching drivers, processing vehicle and property releases and managing vehicle lien paperwork. Proficient in computer software, data entry, customer service, and safely operating equipment, including a forklift. Organized, dependable, and able to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments. Duties Answer high-volume incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries and service requests. Dispatch tow truck drivers to service calls efficiently and promptly. Coordinate and communicate with drivers to ensure smooth daily operations. Process vehicle and personal property releases while verifying required documentation. Prepare and process vehicle lien paperwork in accordance with legal requirements and deadlines. Operate forklifts and other equipment to assist with vehicle legal requirements and deadlines. Maintain accurate records, complete data entry, and manage documentation using computer software. Handle customer payments and provide professional customer service Prioritize multiple tasks and resolve issues in fast-paced work enviroment. Maintain organization and efficiency in daily office and tow yard operations. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in computer software, data entry, and digital recordkeeping. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technology. Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills. Experienced in dispatching and coordinating drivers efficiently. Ability to work independently and part as a team. Ability to remain professional and efficient in high-pressure situations. Dependable, adaptable, and quick to learn new responsibilities. Forklift experience is a plus but not recommended.
