Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative FOR AAA

Job Summary As a Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative for AAA, you’ll coordinate service requests and vehicle assignments while keeping customers and internal teams informed. You’ll use dispatch tools, transportation knowledge, and clear phone communication to help service operations run smoothly. Duties Manage incoming calls on multi-line phone systems; gather request details, enter accurate data, and provide courteous customer service. Dispatch vehicles and coordinate routes using GPS (Global Positioning System), geographic information systems (GIS), and vehicle dispatch software. Monitor assignments and communicate updates to drivers, customers, and internal teams; support road transportation operations and fleet management. Maintain records in transportation management systems, including Oracle Transportation Management, and assist with logistics, freight, shipping and receiving, and supply chain coordination. Apply analysis skills and transportation planning practices to resolve scheduling issues and support efficient service. Your impact: Accurate dispatching and timely updates help customers receive responsive service and help drivers stay coordinated. Requirements Strong communication, phone etiquette, organizational, typing, and data-entry skills; able to manage calls and priorities effectively. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with customer service, dispatching, or phone call management. Familiarity with transportation management, road transportation operations, fleet management, logistics, or 3PL (third-party logistics) is helpful. Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, freight, shipping and receiving, or transportation management systems is preferred. Experience with GPS, GIS, vehicle dispatch software, or Oracle Transportation Management is an asset. Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
