Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients while managing various aspects of transportation and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the freight and transportation industry, enabling them to effectively address customer inquiries and resolve issues. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, experience with operating a forklift. Duties Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Manage and process orders, ensuring accurate data entry into the system. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Analyze transportation planning data to optimize delivery schedules and routes. Assist with dispatching tasks, ensuring timely communication with drivers and clients. Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions. Provide support for 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations as needed. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while communicating with customers. Skills Strong understanding of 3PL, freight, and transportation management principles. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients. Ability to analyze transportation planning data for improved efficiency. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a logistics environment. Experience in dispatching operations is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in all interactions. Experience with operating a forklift and assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
