Dispatcher / Service Coordinator Miller & Sons Salt & Water Conditioning, Inc. We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher / Service Coordinator to join our Lancaster office. This is a key role within our company. The Dispatcher is responsible for keeping our service department organized, coordinating technician schedules, communicating with customers, and helping ensure that the right technician gets to the right customer at the right time. Our current Dispatcher is retiring, and we are hiring now so the successful candidate can receive hands-on training before her retirement and transition smoothly into the position. What You'll Do Schedule and dispatch service technicians throughout Central Pennsylvania. Manage and adjust the daily service schedule as jobs, emergencies, cancellations, and priorities change. Match technicians to jobs based on skill level, location, job requirements, and availability. Communicate appointment times, delays, and schedule changes with customers. Maintain regular communication with technicians throughout the workday. Prioritize emergency and same-day service calls. Review upcoming jobs to make sure technicians have accurate customer and job information. Maintain accurate schedules, customer information, and job notes within our CRM. Coordinate with the Service Manager, office team, sales staff, and field technicians. Schedule return visits and follow-up work when necessary. Manage the service backlog and help maintain efficient technician utilization. Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve problems before they affect customers or technicians. What We're Looking For This is an experienced-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands the demands of dispatching a busy field-service operation. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional dispatching, scheduling, or field-service coordination experience Experience with ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, or another field-service CRM Experience scheduling multiple technicians or field-service employees Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to make quick, practical decisions as schedules change Strong attention to detail and follow-through ServiceTitan experience is strongly preferred. The Dispatcher plays a major role in the daily operation of our service department and directly affects both our customer experience and the productivity of our technicians. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on relevant dispatching experience, software proficiency, and qualifications.
