Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

NFL TRUCKING FREIGHT BROKER DISPATCHER Freight Broker Dispatcher needed in Central Point, Oregon for NFL TRUCKING. NFL is seeking a dynamic and experienced Freight Broker Dispatcher who desires a quality work environment. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Dispatcher in a Freight Brokerage or 3PL and is looking to be part of an exciting and committed team who believes that Delivering Trust Daily is essential to success. This position's primary objective is to find carriers for customer shipments, negotiate freight rates, book shipments, track shipments, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, inform customers of delivery issues and pick up times, write bills of lading and other general office responsibilities. Qualified Candidates Must: · Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a freight brokerage environment. · Ideal candidate will have prior operations/dispatch experience working for a Freight Brokerage or 3PL. · High work ethic and integrity · Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment · Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills · Thrive in a team and culturally strong environment · Superior customer service and telephone skills · Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs including Excel, Word & Outlook · High School Diploma Key Responsibilities will include: · Dispatch shipments by contacting carriers and setting a price for freight movement in order to best serve the customer · Track shipments to ensure all load requirements are met · Securing new carriers through lead generation, cold calling and networking · Negotiate with carriers to procure the best rate available and the optimal service time · Understand the changing market from weekly to hourly in order for all shipments to be moved in a timely manner' · Be the first contact for customer service with shippers, receivers and carriers Benefits of this position include competitive salary.
