Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative Best Rate Fleet Services is hiring a dependable, organized Dispatcher to join our operations team. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for coordinating roadside service, truck and trailer repair, and towing calls. Our dispatchers are the central connection between customers, technicians, drivers, and management. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and can manage multiple service calls without losing track of important details. Responsibilities Answer incoming customer calls professionally and promptly Gather accurate information about breakdowns and service needs Dispatch technicians, service vehicles, and towing equipment Provide customers with estimated arrival times and status updates Monitor active jobs from initial call through completion Maintain communication with technicians and company leadership Prepare estimates and obtain required customer approvals Collect and document payment information according to company procedures Enter complete and accurate notes into the dispatch system Upload job photos, documents, and customer information Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary Keep the dispatch office organized and assist with daily administrative duties Follow all company policies, procedures, and communication standards Qualifications Previous dispatching, customer service, call-center, transportation, or roadside-service experience is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone Able to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable using computers, email, phone systems, and dispatch software Able to remain professional during stressful or difficult situations Basic knowledge of trucks, trailers, towing, or diesel repair is helpful but not required Must be willing to learn company services, pricing, and operating procedures Schedule Best Rate Fleet Services operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must have flexible availability, which may include: Days or nights Weekends Holidays Occasional overtime Specific shifts and scheduling expectations will be discussed during the interview. Work Location This is an in-office position in Jackson, Tennessee . Remote work is not available.
