Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Job Summary As a Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative, you’ll coordinate transportation appointments and and help clients get clear, timely updates. You’ll manage dispatch details, communicate with drivers and internal teams, and keep client information accurate in transportation management and vehicle dispatch software. Your impact: Accurate dispatch coordination helps drivers stay informed and insure clients receive dependable service. Responsibilities Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and other platforms Take new reservations from clients Provide excellent customer service Work varied shifts as needed Perform other duties as required, including sometimes driving and operations Liaison between drivers, clients, and staff Attend meetings in person, videoconference, or phone Fill out forms and write reports Job Requirements: Qualifications and Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent 1 – 2 years previous customer service or dealing with the public 1+ year handling multiple phone lines Software experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook and other Internet applications a must Some experience using scheduling and/or reservation software preferred Read maps and provide accurate directions Ability to solve problems and think outside of the box Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English Current driver’s license and clean driving record CDL a plus but not necessary Satisfactory completion of background investigation and drug test Salary Commensurate with Experience .
