Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our charter bus company. In this vital role, you will coordinate transportation activities, manage dispatching, and deliver exceptional customer service to clients and drivers alike. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software. Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries from drivers, clients, and internal teams Schedule ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate data entry and driver logs Ensure adherence to customer service standards by providing timely updates Qualifications CDL License Preferred Knowledge of GPS technology, and route optimization tools. Understanding of DOT regulations related to public transportation, safety standards, and vehicle compliance. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette for effective customer and driver interactions. Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume setting. Experience with coach bus dispatching. Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
