Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our plumbing company. This role is vital in coordinating daily operations, ensuring timely service delivery, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently to support our team and clients. Duties Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone or email, providing courteous and professional assistance. Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians to service calls based on priority, location, and technician availability. Coordinate with field technicians to ensure they have all necessary information for each job. Monitor ongoing service appointments to ensure timely completion and address any scheduling conflicts or delays proactively. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, customer interactions, and service details in the company’s system. Communicate effectively with customers regarding appointment times, delays, or changes to service plans. Assist with administrative tasks related to customer service and dispatch operations as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimize scheduling efficiency and improve overall customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software is advantageous. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. A positive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
