A Dispatcher answers and responds to any emergency or non-emergency calls to provide assistance or important information to the Field Operations team. Their main duties include logging each call, providing answers to questions by retrieving information from the necessary departments and supervising the field units’ routes to prioritize and organize their schedules. Schedule - Monday to Friday 2 pm to 10 pm Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities Dispatching drivers to appropriate locations utilizing email, cellphone, and other dispatch related programs Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work company personnel and tow companies Using telephones, two-way radios, or text messages to contact employees or emergency personnel Speaking with supervisors and / or customers to resolve problems, requests for emergency or regular routine jobs Preparing / Performing clerical office work as required Maintaining a strong record of attendance All other duties assigned Note: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position.
