Dispatcher

Overview Five County Community Transportation Program, This Institution is An Equal Opportunity Employer, has the following job opening: Dispatcher -prefer applicants with two years of college in Business Administration and/or training/experience in establishing day-to-day transportation routes and schedules, demonstrated skills in the ability to coordinate the daily movements of means of transport, communicate effectively through phone and/or text message. Assign drivers to respective vehicles and ensure leave and arrive times are in accordance to schedule. Available at all times to answer any questions regarding routes and schedules, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload, maintain professional and courteous attitude under stress of work demands, ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other staff, and persons from a variety of ethnic, educational and socio-economic backgrounds. Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgement in performance of assigned duties. Ability to read and write. Has Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger ("P") endorsement.
