Job Title: In Office, Day, Evening, Nights *On Call - Must be able to cover all shifts* Company: Rapid Truck Repair Location: Remote or On-site (Yuba City, CA) Schedule: In Office, Day, Evening, Nights *On Call - Must be able to cover all shifts* Reports To: Operations Manager Position Summary: Rapid Truck Repair is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate emergency roadside repair calls for semi-trucks and heavy-duty equipment. This role is vital in ensuring drivers receive fast, professional service any time of day or night. You will be the main point of contact for customers, technicians, and vendors after regular business hours. one month onsite training followed by remote work. Key Responsibilities: Answer and respond promptly to all after-hours service calls, texts, and emails. Gather critical information from customers, including location, vehicle details, and issue description. Prioritize and assign service calls to available field technicians based on location and urgency. Communicate clearly with drivers and customers to provide updates on ETA, pricing, and repair status. Maintain accurate records of all calls, technician assignments, and completed jobs. Verify payment methods or obtain authorization before dispatching service. Coordinate parts or towing services as needed. Follow company procedures for safety, billing, and customer communication. Report major incidents, delays, or customer concerns to management immediately. Qualifications: Experience: 1+ year in dispatch, roadside assistance, transportation, or fleet operations preferred. Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Technical: Familiar with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and basic truck terminology. Other Requirements: Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Reliable internet and phone connection (for remote positions).
