HVAC Dispatcher Long Island, NY | $28 to $32 per hour | Full Time | Onsite A well established residential home services organization is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to support a busy field service operation on Long Island. This position is ideal for someone who knows how to keep a fast moving service department organized, understands how to prioritize calls, and can confidently coordinate technicians throughout the day. We are especially interested in candidates with HVAC or home services experience who understand the urgency and moving parts involved in residential service. What You'll Do Coordinate and dispatch field technicians based on location, skill set, urgency, and customer needs Manage daily schedules and make real time adjustments as service calls change throughout the day Monitor technician progress and communicate updates to customers and internal teams Answer incoming customer calls and assist with scheduling and service related questions Maintain accurate customer, appointment, and service information within the dispatch system Help technicians stay informed and prepared for upcoming calls Identify scheduling conflicts and operational issues before they impact customers Support customer follow up and overall service coordination Work closely with service leadership to keep daily operations running efficiently What We're Looking For Previous dispatching or scheduling experience required HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or residential home services experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Long Island and surrounding service areas Experience coordinating multiple field technicians in a fast paced environment ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to make quick decisions and reprioritize throughout the day Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry Calm and professional when handling schedule changes, urgent calls, and customer concerns Comfortable working onsite as part of a collaborative service team Compensation and Benefits $28 to $32 per hour based on experience Overtime opportunities Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off, holidays, and sick time Opportunities for continued professional growth This is a full time onsite opportunity with an established and growing residential service organization.
