Tri-County Industries, Inc. is seeking a dispatcher to assist our operations and office personnel. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily duties including but not limited to: communicating with drivers and maintenance, dispatching customer call-ins, generating work orders, checking in drivers. Responsible for route books and mapping. Complete forms and spreadsheets as assigned. Administrative duties as assigned. Interaction with operations, administrative, and sales staff as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year experience in a similar position or related field. High degree of proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. Strong interpersonal, oral communication, and written communication skills. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure. Working knowledge of the waste industry is a plus but not required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The job is normally performed indoors. The ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to move about the office occasionally, is required. While constant lifting is not required, the ability to occasionally lift 25-50 lbs. is required. Good manual dexterity is required to use common office equipment in an office environment. Print
