Linde Canada Inc. Dispatcher (full time) Brampton, ON, Canada | req33187 This position ensures the correct mix of resources (driver, equipment, safety, etc.) for the efficient delivery of product, maximizing assets, while minimizing distribution costs. What you will enjoy doing* In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and managing daily delivery routes, making sure our products get to customers as efficiently and effectively as possible You'll help prioritize new customer set-ups, urgent requests, and emergency deliveries, balancing changing business needs throughout the day There will be regular interaction with customers, coordinating alternative delivery dates when needed and helping drivers troubleshoot issues they encounter in the field You'll play an important role in managing distribution costs by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize delivery operations Safety is a key focus, and you'll help reinforce safe work practices and support our overall safety culture You'll work closely with our Packaged Gas Service Representatives (drivers) and Customer Service team to ensure customers receive their deliveries safely, on time, and with a high level of service Part of the role involves reviewing regulatory and compliance documentation, including TDG paperwork, vehicle inspection reports, hours-of-service records, and quality assurance documents to ensure everything is accurate and up to date Strong computer skills are helpful, particularly experience with Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and Word, as these tools are used regularly in the role This is a hands-on position, so when needed, you'll step in to assist with deliveries during staffing shortages and help support warehouse operations Overall, the role is a mix of logistics coordination, customer service, compliance, and operational support, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same What makes you great* A strong safety mindset is essential, as you'll play an active role in supporting safe operations and reinforcing our safety-first culture every day Experience working with digital logistics or routing systems is an asset and will help you quickly adapt to the tools used to manage daily operations The role is well suited for someone who enjoys multitasking and can confidently solve problems in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day A customer-focused approach is important, as you'll regularly work with both internal teams and external customers to ensure a positive service experience Strong time management and organizational skills will help you balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and keep operations running smoothly Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company.
