Dispatcher

Overview We are a growing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC company looking for a sharp, calm, and organized Dispatcher to keep our technicians moving and our customers happy. You’ll be the central hub of our operations — answering service calls, scheduling jobs, dispatching the right tech at the right time, and making sure every day runs smoothly. As a Dispatcher, you’ll coordinate drivers and appointments to keep operations moving smoothly. You’ll use dispatch tools and transportation management systems to plan routes and share timely updates with customers and internal teams. Duties Assign and adjust dispatches using Service Titan dispatch software. Communicate with the service technicians for accurate management of jobs. Use GPS (Global Positioning System), and transportation management systems. Manage multi-line phone systems, handle phone calls with professional phone etiquette, and provide responsive customer service. Use analysis skills to maintain accurate records and identify scheduling issues. Keep drivers, customers, and colleagues informed through clear internal communication and phone communication. Your impact: Accurate dispatching and timely updates help drivers stay coordinated, and customers know what to expect. Qualifications Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills, with confidence managing phone calls and competing priorities. Knowledge of the bay area and zip codes. Experience or familiarity with dispatching, road transportation operations, logistics, freight, transportation management, or fleet management. Ability to use data entry tools; familiarity with transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software is helpful. GPS familiarity, plus knowledge of transportation planning is preferred. Knowledge of Service Titan is an asset; equivalent relevant experience is welcome.
