Dispatcher

Job Overview We're looking for an experienced Dispatcher to coordinate our daily transportation operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know your way around Hours of Service regulations, and enjoy keeping freight moving efficiently and safely, we want to hear from you Duties Assign loads and schedule drivers based on customer needs, HOS regulations, and operational priorities Coordinate pickups and deliveries with ports, rail yards, terminals, warehouses, and customers Track driver Hours of Service (HOS) and ELDs to ensure safe, compliant operations Communicate with drivers on dispatch instructions, route changes, and delays Help resolve service issues, equipment breakdowns, and customer concerns Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance on repairs and vehicle availability Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Logistics/Transportation a plus Minimum 2 years of dispatch, transportation coordination, or fleet operations experience Experience in port, drayage, intermodal, container, or rail operations preferred Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, CHP, and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Familiarity with TMS, GPS fleet tracking, PortPro, or Motive a plus Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Pay Frequency: Weekly pay Employment Type: Full-time (First 3 months will be a probationary period) Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
