Dispatcher

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and organized Dispatcher to coordinate the efficient movement of freight and shipments within our supply chain network. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the central communication hub, ensuring timely scheduling, routing, and delivery of goods. Your expertise in transportation management systems and strong communication skills will be essential to maintaining seamless operations and supporting our logistics team. Responsibilities Manage and prioritize dispatch schedules using transportation management systems and SyteLine software to optimize freight routes and delivery times Coordinate with carriers, drivers, warehouse staff, and customers via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear and professional communication Monitor shipment statuses, update tracking information accurately through data entry, and troubleshoot any delays or issues promptly Oversee shipping & receiving processes, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards Analyze freight data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, shipping logs, incident reports, and inbound/outbound documentation for audit purposes Qualifications Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight movement, shipping & receiving procedures Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently Proficient in data entry, typing, and analysis skills to interpret shipment data accurately Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in documentation and record keeping Join our team as a Dispatcher where your coordination skills will keep our supply chain moving smoothly!
