Rock Solid Materials is looking for a self-motivated entry level Dispatcher who wants to learn and contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and to be a part of an industry-leading organization that is setting new standards consistently. The Dispatcher manages daily driver schedules and coordinates material deliveries with project crews. Based on production needs, this role dispatches company drivers, outside trucking, and communicates with project foremen, employees, bulk drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure materials are delivered on time. Annual Bonus Plan Internal Referral Bonus ($2,000) All standard PPE is provided Compensation: $50,000-55,000 Responsibilities: Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate daily deliveries Assist senior dispatcher with managing a team of 50+ drivers Monitor live routes, re-routes, and on time deliveries Communicate timely with customers and venders with eta’s or changes Assist in driver recruitment, onboarding, and training Plan safe routes for drivers & carriers Monitor fuel costs & coach drivers to use low cost options Perform other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of DOT regulations, including GVW and HOS Excellent oral and written communication skills Willingness to learn Ability to manage multiple projects Strong organizational skills Ability to read a map reading and use GPS software Strong desire to work within a team Ability to work without direction Willingness to be 'on-call' outside of regular business hours/day About Company Rock Solid Materials is a full service material supplier including quicklime, LKD, cement and fly ash.
