Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator Fairbanks, Alaska | Full-Time Join PAT's Operations team and play a vital role in keeping Alaska's premier transportation services running smoothly. As a Dispatcher , you will serve as the central communication hub for our Fairbanks Operations Center, coordinating daily transportation activities and ensuring exceptional service for both guests and employees. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You'll work closely with drivers, mechanics, wash crews, management, and field staff to support daily operations and create memorable guest experiences. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop valuable transportation and operations management skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate daily transportation operations from the Fairbanks Operations Center Serve as the primary communication link between drivers, mechanics, wash crews, field staff, and management Monitor and respond to phone, email, and radio communications during assigned shifts Resolve guest service concerns quickly and professionally Track, locate, and expedite delivery of misplaced luggage and lost-and-found items Prepare, update, and maintain daily manifests, schedules, operational logs, and related documents Dispatch motorcoaches efficiently to various locations throughout the Fairbanks area Maintain department records and reports to support operational excellence Assist with administrative and operational projects as needed Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should: Be at least 21 years of age Possess a valid driver's license Be legally authorized to work in the United States Have strong communication and problem-solving skills Demonstrate exceptional guest service and professionalism Work effectively both independently and as part of a team Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Be able to lift 50-75 pounds on occasion Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak operational periods CDL experience is preferred but is not required; willingness to train for CDL required What We Offer Competitive pay 401(k) plan with company match Employee discounts Flexible scheduling opportunities Opportunity for advancement A supportive team environment in one of Alaska's most exciting industries Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Job Details Job Type: Full-Time Location: Fairbanks, Alaska (In Person) If you're organized, dependable, and enjoy being at the center of the action, we'd love to hear from you.
