The Dispatcher will coordinate daily freight movements, assign loads to drivers, and monitor routes to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries. Responsibilities include communicating regularly with drivers and customers, tracking shipments, updating transportation management systems, and handling schedule changes or issues as they arise. The role involves maintaining accurate records, confirming load details and documentation, and collaborating with other team members to resolve any service disruptions. The Dispatcher will also help identify process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in dispatching, trucking, logistics coordination, or a related transportation operations role. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with basic computer applications and transportation or logistics software; ability to learn new systems quickly. Problem-solving skills and sound judgment for handling route changes, delays, and service issues in real time. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate dispatch records, load information, and regulatory documentation. Knowledge of trucking operations, regional routes, and basic transportation regulations is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics or transportation are a plus. Ability to work on-site in Brunswick, GA and maintain a reliable work schedule.
