Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | $900 per week About the Role Do you enjoy solving problems, working with a team, and figuring out what to do when the plan suddenly changes? Nu-Way Transportation is looking for a dependable and motivated Dispatcher to join our Central Dispatch team here at Corporate. This is a fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll work with drivers, customers, and other departments to keep operations moving and find logical solutions when challenges arise. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment but can also take ownership and work independently. You'll need to communicate clearly, provide prompt updates, stay organized, and be comfortable adapting when priorities change. What You’ll Do · Monitor and coordinate driver routes, schedules, and daily operations. · Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments. · Troubleshoot transportation challenges and work toward practical solutions. · Provide prompt and accurate updates when plans or service conditions change. · Track deliveries and maintain accurate operational records. · Identify potential service issues and communicate them before they become larger problems. · Balance multiple priorities while supporting the overall team. Transportation experience is a plus, but not required. We're looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, willing to learn, and ready to contribute. Schedule & Pay · Regular Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM · Includes a 1-hour lunch. · Weekly Pay: $900 per week · Opportunities for additional hours may be available based on business needs. · Occasional weekend coverage may be needed to assist with PTO, or other staffing needs. · Nu-Way operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Holiday coverage is shared among the team. You will not be expected to work every holiday; however, some holidays will be required based on operational needs. Holiday schedules are communicated in advance.
