Job description Job Description Responsibilities: Intermodal Dispatch Professionally provide information to drivers, customers & team members Answer phone promptly & courteously Respond to emails promptly & courteously Accurately update & enter orders Promptly update customer Tracing shipment status Photocopying, scanning & emailing documentation Other duties as assigned Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 year transportation dispatch experience required Previous experience in the Intermodal/Ocean Container Industry Excellent organizational skills Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Fluent in English (written and verbal) Fast and accurate keyboarding skills Ability to handle stress well Proficient with Internet, Microsoft Outlook & Excel Excellent typing skills Strong self-discipline and initiative Knowledge of greater Toronto area and local HWYs Job Type: Full-time Salary: $65,000.00 per year for start Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Experience: ocean containers dispatching: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
