HVAC Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator MHS Lomack Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Location: Escondido, CA 92029 Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift About Us MHS Lomack Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. is an established HVAC company serving residential and commercial customers throughout San Diego County. We are currently seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated HVAC Dispatcher to join our office team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, and enjoys working with both customers and field technicians. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner. Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians for maintenance, repairs, and service calls. Coordinate daily technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding job assignments, scheduling changes, and customer updates. Schedule appointments, confirm service calls, and provide customers with updates regarding technician arrival times. Prioritize emergency service calls and adjust schedules as necessary. Accurately enter and maintain customer information, service requests, and job details in dispatching software. Follow up with customers regarding pending appointments, estimates, and outstanding service requests. Assist with invoicing, work orders, and general office administration as needed. Maintain clear communication between customers, technicians, and office management. Help ensure a positive customer experience from the initial phone call through completion of service. Qualifications Required: Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or office administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment. Comfortable using computers, email, and scheduling software. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling stressful situations or customer concerns. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Preferred: Previous HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other home service dispatching experience. Familiarity with HVAC terminology and service operations. Experience with ESC, similar dispatching software. Previous experience coordinating multiple field technicians.
