Dispatcher

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, highly organized, and motivated Full-Time Dispatcher to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment. This position plays an important role in our daily operations by coordinating drivers, trucks, equipment, and deliveries to ensure projects run efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch trucks, drivers, and equipment to various jobsites. Coordinate daily deliveries, material pickups, and transportation needs. Communicate with drivers, project managers, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules and job requirements. Monitor daily dispatch activity and make adjustments as needed. Maintain accurate dispatch records, schedules, and documentation. Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts, delays, and other operational challenges. Ensure efficient utilization of trucks, equipment, and personnel. Work closely with operations and management to support daily project needs. Qualifications Previous dispatching experience preferred; construction, trucking, transportation, or heavy equipment industry experience is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency with computers and basic office software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a busy workplace.
