AAA North PennFull-time Dispatcher We are seeking a candidate for our Emergency Road Service Department in Scranton. This is an in-person position for second shift and requires weekend availability. The role of the Dispatcher is to provide exceptional service to our members by processing and dispatching calls to contractors and fleet drivers. Duties and Responsibilities: Dispatchers serve as the central point between drivers and members. Their primary duties include: Receiving and managing calls in Salesforce: Handling calls, gathering information, and determining the appropriate response or resource deployment. Scheduling and coordinating operations: Assigning tasks, planning routes, and ensuring timely delivery of services while optimizing efficiency. Monitoring and tracking: Using GPS, vehicle trackers, or other systems to track field units, monitor progress, and update calls. Problem-solving and decision-making: Addressing unexpected issues such as delays, accidents and making quick decisions. Maintaining records and documentation: Logging calls, updating schedules, and keeping accurate records for reporting and compliance purposes. Member and team communication: Relaying information between drivers, members, and management, ensuring clear and timely communication. Job Requirements: The Agent must possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics: · Strong keyboard and computer skills. · Good interpersonal, communication and telephone skills. · Ability to prioritize and make timely decisions. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience: Must have 1 year of Customer Service experience.
