We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated dispatcher to join our dynamic team and help us continue to exceed our customers' expectations. Position Overview: As a company dispatcher, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating our transportation operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods, optimizing routes, and maintaining communication with drivers and clients. Key Responsibilities: Route Planning: Develop and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing costs. Scheduling: Coordinate schedules for drivers, including shift assignments and delivery times. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams to address any issues or changes in plans. Monitoring: Track and monitor shipments in real-time to ensure adherence to schedules and address any delays or disruptions. Problem-Solving: Resolve any logistical issues or conflicts that may arise, including handling unexpected changes and emergencies. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including schedules, driver logs, and shipment details. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in transportation and logistics dispatch or a related field is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with a customer-focused approach. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite. Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
