Dispatcher - 2nd Shift
P I & I MOTOR EXPRESS, INC.Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage drivers both those on the road and in the office. Duties Assist drivers with issues that may evolve including but not limited to load assignments, breakdowns, and driver paperwork. Utilize transportation management systems such as TMW, Omnitracs, Isaac Systems, Comdata. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and customers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear messaging Data entry Monitor GPS tools for real-time location tracking, route adjustments, and transportation analysis Resolve issues promptly and efficiently. Experience Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as TMW. Strong understanding of GPS technology and fleet management software Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, freight documentation, and warehouse operations Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally Join us as a Dispatcher on our 2nd shift team where your proactive approach will keep our supply chain moving smoothly!
