Our dispatch team plays a critical role in keeping our operations running efficiently and our customers informed. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to manage daily courier operations, driver coordination, and real-time issue resolution. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Dispatch and manage independent contractor drivers out of one of our customers locations Monitor routes, pickups, and deliveries in real time using dispatch software Communicate clearly with drivers regarding assignments, changes, and expectations Handle exceptions, delays, and service issues proactively Ensure PODs, scans, and status updates are completed accurately and on time Coordinate with operations management on coverage, capacity, and performance Maintain professionalism in all customer and driver interactions Escalate critical issues appropriately and document resolutions Required Qualifications Prior dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using dispatch systems, GPS tracking, and basic spreadsheets Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must Preferred Experience Courier, same-day delivery, or last-mile logistics Healthcare, pharmacy, or time-sensitive delivery environments Working with independent contractor driver models What We Offer Competitive pay with bi-weekly compensation Stable, growing company with nationwide operations Supportive operations leadership Opportunity for advancement as the company expands Fast-paced environment where performance matters How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your dispatch or logistics experience.
