Job Title: Dispatcher Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating schedules and activities to ensure efficient operations. You will be responsible for taking customer service calls, <dispatching> technicians, monitoring routes, and communicating with the technicians and customers. Duties: - Coordinate and schedule service calls. - Dispatch technicians and track their routes. - Communicate effectively with customers and technicians to provide instructions and updates. - Monitor progress and address any delays or issues that arise. - Assist management in generating quotes. - Review service tickets for accurate billing. - Audit open service tickets for timely closing of jobs. Qualifications: - Proven experience in <dispatching> or a similar role within the transportation industry. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
