Dispatcher

Overview The Dispatcher coordinates shipment information and communication across transportation and supply chain activities. This role supports accurate, timely freight movement by maintaining records, responding to inquiries, and sharing clear updates with colleagues and service partners. Duties Enter and update shipment details in transportation management systems, AS400, or SyteLine, checking records for accuracy. Coordinate freight activity with internal teams and 3PL partners, supporting shipping and receiving workflows. Handle inquiries using professional phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems; communicate shipment updates clearly. Review shipment data, identify discrepancies, and share relevant findings with colleagues to support timely decisions. Qualifications Required: Clear communication, professional phone etiquette, accurate data entry, typing, and the ability to manage information across multiple systems are essential to coordinating freight and maintaining dependable records. Analysis skills support careful review of shipment details and prompt identification of discrepancies. Preferred: Experience with transportation management systems, supply chain operations, 3PL coordination, AS400, SyteLine, and shipping and receiving is advantageous.
