Community Bus Services is a leading provider of transportation services to school districts, non-profit organizations, and communities. Founded in 1933 Community Bus Services continues today doing business in Northeastern, Central and Southern Ohio. Responsibilities Ability to work under stress while remaining professional at all times Must have excellent communication and customer service skills Work well under pressure and attention to detail is an absolute must Ability to listen to and understand detailed information either verbally or in writing Answer incoming phone and radio calls Maintain confidential information at all times Ability to communicate well with others who have below average writing and verbal skills Must have an above average ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to recognize, evaluate, and report problems as necessary Ability to take direction and follow-through Must have map reading skills Conduct driver check-in and fit for duty procedures Issue keys, vehicles and other equipment to drivers General office duties (faxing, scanning, typing, filing, etc) Attention to data entry, updating information promptly throughout the day Run various reports and review daily Capable of working independently, without constant supervision Inform Transportation Supervisor of concerns and/or problems Other duties may be assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Over 21 years of age Clear BCI and FBI background checks Meet drug and alcohol free workplace policies Daily attendance and adherence to shift schedules Strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills Multi-tasking ability while maintaining strong interpersonal skills Experience using internet maps and real-time data entry software About the position Monday through Friday Split Shift No nights or weekends Major holidays off 10-month position 40 hours per week $17.00 per hour Insurance available Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
