Job Summary A1 Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented HVAC Dispatcher to join our growing team! Our dispatcher plays a critical role in the daily success of our company by keeping technicians organized, customers informed, and schedules running efficiently. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask, solve problems quickly, and communicate effectively with both customers and field technicians. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, stays ahead of the schedule, and understands the importance of delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities ● Manage and coordinate daily schedules for HVAC service technicians. ● Dispatch technicians efficiently based on location, availability, skill level, and job priority. ● Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed. ● Maintain constant communication with technicians, customers, and office staff. ● Ensure customers receive timely updates regarding appointments and technician arrival times. ● Maximize daily scheduling opportunities while minimizing downtime and unnecessary travel. ● Identify scheduling gaps and work with the office team to fill available appointments. ● Assist with incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and customer service. ● Follow up on outstanding service calls, estimates, and scheduling opportunities. ● Maintain accurate customer records, appointment notes, and job updates in ServiceTitan. ● Coordinate with management when scheduling challenges or urgent service situations arise. ● Help ensure every service call is handled professionally from booking through completion. Qualifications ● Previous dispatching, scheduling, or HVAC industry experience preferred. ● Experience with ServiceTitan is a strong plus. ● Excellent communication and organizational skills. ● Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. ● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, and multiple phone lines. ● Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset. ● Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. ● Dependable, punctual, and accountable.
