Role Description The Dispatch Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Richardson, TX. This position is responsible for receiving and prioritizing incoming calls and alarms, documenting events accurately, and dispatching appropriate security personnel or emergency services according to established protocols. Daily activities include monitoring systems and communication channels, updating logs and incident reports, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients, field teams, and internal staff. The Dispatch Operator follows standard operating procedures, escalates issues when necessary, and supports continuous coverage by coordinating with other operators and supervisors. The role requires a strong focus on attention to detail, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and security standards. Qualifications Ability to manage high call volumes, prioritize multiple tasks, and remain calm and professional under pressure. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear telephone etiquette and accurate incident documentation. Comfort with computer-based dispatch systems, alarm monitoring platforms, and basic office software. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining logs, reports, and records. Ability to work in a structured, shift-based environment, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience in dispatch, call center, security operations, or related fields preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security, emergency response, or communications is a plus. Dependable, ethical, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion and adherence to company policies.
