Dispatch & Operations Supervisor
Victory Haulers Inc.Overview Victory Haulers is seeking a reliable and organized Dispatch & Operations Supervisor to support our growing trucking operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating drivers and loads, monitoring day-to-day operations, communicating with brokers and customers, and ensuring trips are completed efficiently and on schedule. We are looking for someone who is proactive, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch drivers for Canada and U.S. loads. Plan and monitor daily trips, pickup times, delivery appointments, and driver schedules. Communicate with drivers throughout their trips and provide necessary instructions and updates. Communicate professionally with brokers, customers, and other transportation partners. Search for and assist with booking suitable loads based on truck availability and routes. Negotiate rates with brokers when required. Track trucks and shipments and provide timely status updates. Handle delays, breakdowns, appointment changes, and other operational issues. Prepare and maintain load confirmations, BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations, and other transportation documents. Maintain accurate records of loads, driver information, expenses, and operational activities. Assist with invoicing, paperwork, and basic administrative/accounting tasks related to completed loads. Support management with the day-to-day operation and growth of the fleet. Requirements Previous experience in truck dispatching, transportation, or logistics is preferred. Knowledge of Canada–U.S. trucking operations is an asset. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Good organizational and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable communicating with drivers, brokers, and customers. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to manage multiple trucks and loads simultaneously. Reliable, professional, and able to work independently. Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.
