Dispatch Driver Manager – Support Our Drivers. Strengthen Our Team. Location: Jerome, Idaho Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Work Environment: In-office required; no remote option Build Relationships That Keep Our Fleet Moving At Arlo G. Lott Trucking , our drivers are people with families, goals, and lives beyond the truck. As a Dispatch Driver Manager , you’ll be a daily point of contact for an assigned fleet, building relationships, providing clear information, and helping drivers succeed. You’ll work alongside and support your fleet’s Dispatcher, making sure drivers understand their loads, customer expectations, and important updates. Success in this role takes organization, practical problem-solving, and a sincere interest in the people you support. What You’ll Be Doing Build strong relationships with your drivers. Communicate daily, get to know them, and understand how work and personal needs affect their day. Support your Dispatcher. Help carry out load plans, share driver updates, and keep communication flowing between the Dispatcher and drivers. Communicate load details clearly. Provide pickup and delivery information, load requirements, appointment times, and customer instructions. Help drivers find answers. Provide pin drops, directions, location details, and other information they need to complete their work. Work through problems. Help address delays, unclear instructions, scheduling concerns, and unexpected changes. Keep everyone informed. Share important updates promptly and bring concerns to the right person for resolution. Maintain accurate records. Document driver communications, load updates, and relevant details in company systems. Coordinate with other teams. Work with Safety, Maintenance, HR, and Operations to help resolve driver needs. Follow through. Listen, set clear expectations, and make sure questions and concerns receive a response.
