Are you someone who can multitask, communicate effectively, and keep things running smoothly in a busy office environment? Aroostook Regional Transportation System, Inc. (ARTS) is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatch / Customer Service Representative. In this important role, you will help coordinate transportation services throughout Aroostook County by assisting passengers with ride reservations, communicating with drivers over two-way radios, and helping ensure daily transportation operations run efficiently. Responsibilities include: Answering incoming calls and assisting passengers with transportation inquiries and ride reservations. Scheduling passenger trips and coordinating driver assignments. Communicating with drivers over two-way radios and assisting with schedule changes throughout the day. Maintaining accurate passenger information and computerized records. Processing daily driver cash-outs and preparing cash, ticket, and deposit records. Providing friendly, professional customer service to passengers, coworkers, and outside agencies. Assisting with additional office responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of customer service experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Comfortable using computers and learning scheduling software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Dispatching experience and familiarity with Aroostook County roads and communities preferred.
