About the Opportunity: The DISPATCH COORDINATOR role is essential for managing and coordinating the logistics of fleet operations. This position ensures the efficient assignment of service providers to maintenance and repair events, maintaining the flow of operations and minimizing downtime for vehicles. The role directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational continuity by troubleshooting issues, communicating effectively with service providers and customers, and ensuring timely responses to repair needs. Responsibilities: Assess and assign all open service events. Verify authorization for dispatching service events. Assign the nearest appropriate service provider for repairs. Advise customers on estimated arrival times and follow their instructions. Notify supervisors of any delays or repair issues. Address problems and customer inquiries promptly. Requirements: High school diploma or GED with 3 years of related dispatch experience in breakdown or medium to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance or an advanced degree/certification in a related field (Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technology) with 5 years of experience. Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking. Preferred: Degree or industry experience related to the discipline. Availability for training scheduled Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET, with shifts covering weekends, evenings, or overnight in a 24/7/365 operational environment. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Hourly base pay range: $18.17 to $27.31 per hour, varying by location and candidate qualifications. Potential eligibility for commission and incentive programs.
